Javed Meghani is a serial entrepreneur and private equity executive with over 30 years of experience building and scaling businesses across the energy and real estate sectors.

From 2007 to 2022, Javed built a Texas-based retail electric provider from the ground up, growing annual revenues to over $70 million before executing three strategic exits — selling the company's book of business to TXU Energy, NRG Energy, and Genie Energy. His ability to identify market opportunity, build operational infrastructure, and navigate complex transactions established him as a recognized operator in the Texas business landscape.

In 2023, Javed founded Meghani Capital with a clear mandate: deploy disciplined private equity into high-conviction real estate opportunities across Texas. Under his leadership, the firm has raised $7.6 million across two ground-up retail developments in Richmond and Cypress — both now constructed and in active lease-up — and is expanding into a flex industrial platform anchored by a flagship development in Pearland. Javed leads the firm's deal origination, strategic direction, and capital markets activity.

Aliakbar Meghani brings a decade of operational and transactional experience to his role as COO of Meghani Capital, where he oversees deal execution, project management, and investor relations across the firm's growing portfolio.

Aliakbar began his career in the retail energy sector, rising to Vice President of Sales & Marketing and playing a central role in scaling annual revenues to over $70 million — ultimately leading the business through two strategic exits to large institutional acquirers. That foundation in high-growth operations and transaction execution translates directly to how Meghani Capital manages assets from acquisition through stabilization.

A co-founder of Meghani Insurance Group and operator across multiple business platforms, Aliakbar holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from the Acton School of Business. His cross-industry experience — spanning energy, insurance, and real estate — gives him a practical, multi-lens approach to running a portfolio company at every stage of its lifecycle.

Arman Meghani leads strategy, capital partnerships, and investor relations at Meghani Capital, bringing a disciplined financial and risk management perspective to the firm's acquisition and development activities.

A graduate of the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Finance, Arman is also the founder and CEO of Meghani Insurance Group — a commercial insurance brokerage that underwrites and manages coverage across more than $3 billion in commercial property assets nationwide. That institutional-grade exposure to underwriting, risk pricing, and asset evaluation informs how Meghani Capital structures and stress-tests every investment it makes.

At MCAP, Arman focuses on investor relationships, strategic partnerships, and ensuring each project is structured to protect capital and maximize long-term returns. His ability to combine a finance-trained operator's mindset with deep risk management experience makes him a differentiated voice in how the firm evaluates opportunity and manages downside.
